Abellio Greater Anglia recently built a multi-storey cycle storage facility for train passengers at Cambridge station. TTS was tasked with developing and installing a CCTV system capable of monitoring approximately 3,000 spaces for bicycles. The system comprised of more than 90 IP cameras across three levels.

TTS was tasked with developing and installing a CCTV system capable of monitoring approximately 3,000 spaces for bicycles. The system comprised of more than 90 IP cameras across three levels, using intelligent video analysis and providing detailed images to the British Transport Police.

Installation at Abellio Greater Anglia cycle facility required us to work under another Principle Contractor, with tight delivery deadlines. There were many contractors working on site, and therefore collaboration was key to successful safe delivery. Daily meetings were arranged and we introduced a point of work assessment to brief to our team every morning to highlight the specific risks of that day in the ever-changing site conditions.
